The services offered by Inmarsat are well placed to deliver mission-critical communications where terrestrial networks don't go or are ineffective. Ideal for short term deployments ahead of more permanent infrastructure or where physical size constraints prevent deployment or for primary or back-up communications on any vessel from a small yacht to a super tanker.   

Inmarsat owns and operates a fleet of 11 satellites providing seamless mobile voice and data communications around the world, enabling users to make phone calls or connect to the Internet - whenever and wherever they need - on land, at sea or in the air.  They have a wide range of approved satellite systems designed to operate on their own satellites from various manufacturers like Thrane & Thrane, SeaTel, JRC and Furuno.
