As of the start of 2019 Livewire Connections has been renamed Marlink Ltd.

Astrium Marlink Increase VSAT Coverge In Mediterranean

Astrium Marlink has introduced new satellite coverage on Eutlesat 36 East, which provides extensive coverage throughout Europe and into the Middle East for Maritime users.

This beam compliments the existing Mediterranean coverage and provides Yachts / Ships with single VSAT antennas suffering from blockage issues with up to 80 degrees of satellite separation in the South of France, greatly reducing the chances of being totally blocked and off line.

This beam is in addition to several other new beams Astrium has launched includes new Atlantic coverage on IS-21 MOK and IS907 S1 over Northern Europe and Scandinavia.

Astrium’s VSAT coverage is the most extensive available and provides Automatic Beam Switching on a Global basis.
