As of the start of 2019 Livewire Connections has been renamed Marlink Ltd.

We supply coaxial cable in the form of small kits for our TVRO, VSAT and GSM systems. We supply in pre cut lengths of either 30m or 50m. Each 30m or 50m length is spooled onto a single drum and supplied with the corresponding connector. Cabling tools are also available for each connector. Custom lengths greater than 50m are available as well specialist cabling for Iridium and Inmarsat systems. Please contact us with your requirements.

We recommend the following:

VSAT Cable Runs (Typically 3 runs, TX, RX, Spare)

Less than 30 metres: ANT-400 (50 Ohm) with N Type Connectors
30 - 50 metres: ANT-600 (50 Ohm) with N Type Connectors
Over 50 metres: 'Fibre to the Radome' solution

TVRO Cable Runs (Typically 5 or 6 runs depending on system, HH,VH,HL,VL,Antenna, Spare)

Less than 30 metres: ANT-400 (75 Ohm) with F Type Connectors
30 - 50 metres: ANT-600 (75 Ohm) with F Type Connectors
Over 50 metres: 'Fibre to the Radome' solution

GSM Cable Runs (Typically 1 or 2 runs, Signal, Spare)

Less than 30 metres: ANT-400 (50 Ohm) with N Type Connectors

The brand of cable we supply is Antennax which we have used for many years and found to have good performance for a reasonable cost meeting the specifications of LMR-400. All the coaxial cables we supply are Low Smoke Halogen Free complying to the standard IEC 60754-1&2
