As of the start of 2019 Livewire Connections has been renamed Marlink Ltd.

Under the new Marlink Ltd identity, we will further strengthen our portfolio with the ability to offer services from other group companies, such as OmniAccess, to yachting customers going forward.

Sailor 150 FleetBroadband features the smallest, lightest FleetBroadband antenna to date, which enables simple user-installation, so smaller professional vessels and larger yachts with a requirement for reliable, high quality global internet and voice communication can enter the broadband era with a true IP solution for the first time.

Sailor 150 FleetBroadband widens the possibilities of high speed internet access at sea and provides the opportunity to have the internet on almost any boat.

Inmarsat's new Voice Distress Calling service provides full priority access in both ship-shore and shore-ship communication in emergency situations, together with pre-emption for distress priority calls initiated by activation of the 'red button'. Essentially, the service is able to interrupt any non-urgent calls once the distress button has been activated and gives full priority to subsequent emergency communications and so improve safety onboard.

Sailor is the first manufacturer to offer a system to take advantage of this new safety service - the new SAILOR 3771 Alarm Panel FleetBroadband.
