Marine 3G/GSM Booster Repeater for Yachts (End of Life)

This Marine repeater is used to boost the GSM / 3G signal inside a ship or boat where the signal is blocked by the metal hull. Even in situations where there is only 1 bar signal outside the ship, full signal will be achieved inside the ship with the use of this Marine repeater.

The omni-directional marine grade antenna is installed on the ship outside and collects the cell tower signal. It sends this signal down the cable to the repeater. The repeater then amplifies this signal and re-transmits it into the cabins where you want coverage. Mobile phones , fixed 3G routers and laptop 3G keys in that area then communicate with the improved signal. When a mobile phone or laptop internet dongle transmits, the signal is received by the Indoor Antenna, is amplified by the repeater and transmitted back to the cell tower through the outdoor antenna on the mast.

Use of the omni antenna eliminates the need to point the antenna in the direction of your operator as it will collect the signal from all directions. Signal strength LED’s on the repeater light up as as the signal is received. This gives you an idea of signal strength.
