World Superyacht Awards 2016

Congratulations to M/Y Mirage and S/Y Unfurled winners in the Boat International World Superyacht Awards 2016.

M/Y Mirage was announced as winner of the ‘Refit of the year’ category, whilst S/Y Unfurled was announced as winner of the ‘Sailing Yacht 40m and above’ and ‘Sailing yacht of the year’. “Both superyachts are customers of Livewire Connections and we are proud to have worked on such distinguished projects that have been recognised on such a grand scale. S/Y Unfurled is equipped with a full VSAT service which makes everyday communications and operations run smoothly providing access to the internet over a secure, reliable connection. 

M/Y Mirage has received a more sophisticated offering from Livewire Connections, equipped with the latest SAILOR 900 VSAT and two Sea Tel 100 TVHD antennas as part of her refit. Since leaving the yard M/Y Mirage has been busy spending time in the Mediterranean and Caribbean where Livewire’s VSAT service, 4G airtime and Sky Offshore in Europe and DirecTV in the US has been utilised. All installation, commissioning, training and ongoing support has been undertaken by Livewire’s team of experienced engineers.
