As of the start of 2019 Livewire Connections has been renamed Marlink Ltd.

Under the new Marlink Ltd identity, we will further strengthen our portfolio with the ability to offer services from other group companies, such as OmniAccess, to yachting customers going forward.

The SAILOR 100 GX is an advanced 3-axis stabilised 1 Meter Ka-band antenna system designed for the Inmarsat Global Xpress® satellite network

Round the world sailors return home

On Saturday 30th July the fleet of 12 Clipper 70’s who have been taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2015-16 will return to St Katherine’s Dock, London. Their 11-month adventure has taken in visits to 16 cities across six continents along the route.

Livewire Connections worked in conjunction with Marine Camera Solutions to provide airtime, voice and data communications to the crew whilst at sea. Hardware on board includes Inmarsat FleetBroadband SAILOR 250 terminal and the Livewire Connections Access Controller FB-10. This has meant that the skipper and crew have access to Astrium SkyFile Mail system enabling them to stay connected to family and friends back home in addition to sending updates back to the Clipper Race Office.
