The Access Controller FB-10, has been developed by Livewire Connections to simplify the control and management of all off vessel communications. Widely used by ships, superyachts, cruise ships and racing yachts the Access Controller FB-10 controls access to various satellite and terrestrial communications systems onboard the vessel. It provides redundant switching, firewalling, QOS and spend control features.

As a Sea Tel Dealer, Livewire Connections will be displaying the recently launched Sea Tel 3011, the very latest small 3-axis stabilised VSAT system. This new 3 axis VSAT antenna system will provide robust and reliable internet connectivity for commercial and crew welfare for use onboard vessels operating in all environments.

Two noteworthy products from Inmarsat have also just been launched. The Inmarsat Isat Phone, is the latest compact cost effective handheld satellite phone and the INMARSAT M2M Terminal, a dedicated unmanned mobile satcom for machine to machine data applications. The compact Inmarsat Isat phone, weighing only 300grams, provides voice, SMS and low speed data from a satellite terminal. The Inmarsat M2M is the latest unmanned machine to machine data terminal, which has many different applications from providing remote power control for sub stations to providing data telemetry and control for an offshore fixed platform.
