As of the start of 2019 Livewire Connections has been renamed Marlink Ltd.

Congratulations to Alex Thomson

Congratulations to Alex Thomson, Hugo Boss and all at Alex Thomson Racing on their successful 3rd place finish during the Vendee Globe 2012-2013.

Livewire Connections provided Alex with Inmarsat Fleet Broadband and all his communications on board. Their involvement enabled Alex to partake in live feeds on BBC Breakfast as well as sending video footage and images back to race HQ.

The communications perhaps more importantly enabled Alex to communicate to his shore crew and family, to help keep his morale up during tough points in the race and help to share his successes with them.
