COBHAM Gold Technical Service Partner

Livewire Connections is pleased to announce the appointment as the very first Gold Technical Service Partner for Cobham SATCOM’s latest range of Sea Tel 80, 100 and 120 TVRO antenna systems.

This recognition compliments the company’s Gold Technical Partner status for all Sea Tel’s existing VSAT and TVRO antennas systems as well as the SAILOR 800 and 900 VSAT products.

“The appointment has been made as Livewire Connections has been at the forefront of a significant number of the new Sea Tel TVRO series installations since the product launch in 2015”, said Henrik Mertz Director, Global Service, Cobham SATCOM. “Their dedication, local knowledge and technical expertise is a major asset in our Global Service Network, which has been established to provide fast, high quality response to service calls anywhere in the world.”  Livewire Connections engineers are all fully trained Cobham SATCOM antenna engineers and the Company maintains a significant inventory of legacy Sea Tel spares with a new base spares holding for the both the Sea Tel 80, 100 and 120 TVRO antennas and SAILOR 800 and 900 VSAT antennas.

The Sea Tel 80, 100 and 120 TVHD antennas are able to receive worldwide Ku-band high definition and standard definition TV programming without having to make any adjustments to the hardware. The 100 and 120 antennas are also fully compatible with DIRECTV, the largest broadcaster in the US with 285 channels, of which 195 are full time HD.
